05/25/10: My First Blog Post

Here is my very first blog post...here goes nothing.

Right now I am working two jobs to save up in order to move out of my house. The little things are driving me crazy,not to mention the fact that I am craving independence. I feel like I am at a crossroads between childhood and adulthood, but I can't wait to embark on this journey. I've been searching the web and reading up on how to be successful in becoming independent. And I must say, I am ready for the challenge. I know that there will be times when I will need my parents, even if it is for something as trivial as a recipe, but I can't help but think about the freedom I will have-the freedom to come home at any hour of the day, the freedom to eat lots and lots of Ramen noodles, and the freedom to soak in the tub for as long as I please.
